Risegate Advisors

Business Owners

A direct conversation. A specific buyer. Complete discretion.

If Risegate contacted you, it is because a buyer we represent is looking for a business like yours. There is no process to enter and nothing to prepare.

Why We Contacted You

Your company appears to fit specific criteria established by the buyer we represent — sector, service mix, size and geography. The message you received was written for your business, not sent to a list.

Who We Represent

Risegate works for buyers: private equity firms, their portfolio companies, family offices and strategic acquirers. We are not listing your company for sale and we are not marketing it to anyone.

What Happens Next

Usually a short, private conversation. You learn who the buyer is and what they are looking for. Responding creates no obligation — if it is not a fit, or the timing is wrong, that is a complete answer and the conversation ends there.

Confidentiality

Nothing you share is circulated. Any detailed information is exchanged only through an agreed confidentiality process, and only when both sides want to continue.

What To Expect

From first message to first meeting.

Nothing about this is a process you have to enter. Here is the whole sequence, and where it stops if you want it to.

  1. 01

    A direct message

One note or call from a named person at Risegate, written about your business, on behalf of one buyer. Your company is never listed or circulated.

  2. 02

    A short introductory call

Twenty to thirty minutes. You learn who the buyer is, what they own, what they are looking for and why you were contacted. No financials are requested.

  3. 03

    You decide whether to continue

No is a complete answer and ends the conversation. Not now is also an answer; we simply ask when to check back.

  4. 04

    A confidential introduction

If you want to continue, we introduce you to the buyer directly, under a confidentiality agreement. You control what is shared and when.

  5. 05

    Your own advisors

From that point the conversation is yours. We recommend you involve your attorney and accountant before any information exchange or offer.
